When you use Byline Pro, we collect:
We use your data solely to provide the Byline Pro service: authenticating your account, scanning your articles, generating reports, and tracking your usage quota. We do not sell, share, or use your content for training AI models.
Article text is sent to our AI analysis pipeline to generate your scan report. It is stored in our database so you can review your scan history. We do not share your article content with third parties.
Your data is stored in Supabase, which provides enterprise-grade security with encryption at rest and in transit. All communication uses HTTPS. Your data is protected by row-level security, meaning only you can access your own articles and scan results.
We use essential cookies for authentication (Supabase session tokens). We do not use tracking cookies. We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics tool that does not collect personal data or track individual visitors. Plausible is GDPR compliant and all data is processed in the EU.
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at hello@byline.pro. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice in the app.
